Izpit FCE je namenjen vsem, ki želijo aktivno obvladati angleški jezik v vsakdanji rabi in srednje zahtevni poslovni komunikaciji.
FCE je pogoj pri pridobitvi nekaterih štipendij ali pa pogoj za vpis na tuje univerze v Evropi in ZDA.
Obenem je FCE tudi priznan standard znanja angleščine v evropskih podjetjih, cenijo pa ga tudi slovenska podjetja in ustanove.
Na izpitu se preverja 5 spretnosti: reading, writing, listening, speaking in use of English.
Izpit FCE vsako leto opravlja prek 270.000 ljudi v več kot 100 deželah sveta.
Pomembna prednost certifikata je tudi njegova neomejena veljavnost.
Tečaj lahko poteka tudi v obliki pouka v paru ali individualnega pouka.
